WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT
Nirmithi Women's Centres equip women in different aspects of building construction and believes in promoting women's role in habitat development. Through the training and empowerment activities of this Centre, construction, which was previously the exclusive field of the male, has today become the forte of women engineers, architects, masons, carpenters and artisans.
Annapoorna Society
This venture aims at providing employment opportunities to women through development of their entrepreneurial talents. This charitable society was started by Dr. Bose in 1986 during his tenure as District Collector, and Mayor of Kollam and provides training to women with a view to employment generation.
